The NORVI X-DA8 is an industrial-grade digital input expansion module designed for seamless integration with the NORVI X Modular Controller. It provides eight optically isolated 230 V AC digital inputs, enabling reliable monitoring of industrial switches, relays, sensors, contactors, and other AC-powered field signals.
The DA8 uses a PCA9538 I²C port expander to communicate with the NORVI X CPU through the internal expansion bus. Four selectable I²C addresses allow up to four DA8 modules to be connected to a single controller, providing up to 32 additional AC digital inputs. Optical isolation, built-in protection, individual status indicators, and a DIN-rail enclosure make it suitable for reliable operation in industrial automation environments.
